Guneet Banga is an Executive Director at The Caravel Group, a Hong Kong-based diversified conglomerate with three key areas of business: maritime, commodities and investment management. He is an active proponent of conscious capitalism, which guides his investment approach in impact and sustainability start-up ventures that focus on climate change solutions and mitigation technologies. In 2022, Guneet established Caravel Sustainable Investments (CSI), a dedicated vehicle for the Group’s investment management activities focused on impact, ESG and sustainable investing. He is also a General Partner of Aera VC, a Singapore-based portfolio company which invests in deep tech sustainability ventures. Guneet is a frequent guest speaker at ESG and family office conferences, and recently received the ‘Global Visionary – Impact & Sustainability’ award by the Vision World Academy in India.
