Alvin is a sustainability consultant, impact investor and policy researcher. Alvin co-founded The Kommon Goods, a green products provider offering eco-friendly products. He was named Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum, and invited to speak at international conferences like UN COP25 and WTO. Alvin is a board advisor for Zero Foodprint Asia.

He holds a Masters in Management and Masters in Social Innovation, both at the University of Cambridge, and is currently completing his PhD in Public Policy at HKUST. He is the recipient of the HKUST RedBird PhD Award for Outstanding Performance 2021/22
